L-FUNCTIONS AND MODULARITY OF ALGEBRAIC VARIETIES

The ICM 2022 Satellite Conference
15 – 23 July 2022, Moscow

Laboratory of Mirror Symmetry and Automorphic forms, NRU HSE
and Institute for Information Transmission Problems, RAN

International Congress of Mathematicians (ICM) is the most significant meeting in pure and applied mathematics, and one of the oldest scientific congresses. The ICM 2022 will be held in Saint Petersburg on 6 - 14 July, 2022.

The main topics of our satellite meeting are:
L-functions of abelian surfaces and Calabi-Yau threefolds,
•
the paramodular conjecture on abelian surfaces,
•
four-dimensional Galois representations,
• applications of automorphic forms and Borcherds products in arithmetic, geometry and physics.

We are also planning to organize mini-courses on these topics for young mathematicians. Detailed information will appear in the summer of 2021.

See the program. A research school for young mathematicians will also be organized during the mееting.  Detailed information will appear in the summer of 2021.
